Adrenalin Surf Maroc is located 15km north of Agadir. We are located in a fishermen village named Tamraght.
It’s about 45 minutes from Agadir Al Massira International Airport and 2-3 hours from most European airports. This area of Morocco is a great place for surfers and tourists as it bends berber, or Amagizh, culture with surf and beach vibes.
Surfing is available all year long with a peak period from October to March.
Agadir is served by direct flights (2-3 hours) from major European airports. Upon arrival, a transport will be waiting for you at Agadir airport with our Adrenalin Surf Maroc logo. It’s a 45-minute drive south-east along the coastal road.
You can also take a taxi from the airport to the surf camp or take a bus from Agadir to Tamraght, we will pick you up if necessary.
Coming from Marrakech, you can take a bus to Agadir bus station, we recommend CTM or Supratours.
The surf house has 5 beautiful rooms. All package come with a bed into a shared room of 3 maximum.
It is also possible to book a private room, or a private apartment upon request.
You can arrive at any time and any day of the week, just tell us.
Check-in starts from 3pm and check-out before 11 am.
With any of our surf packages, you will have the opportunity to visit the souk of Agadir. There you can buy artisanal souvenirs, taste some foods or just have a feel of local life.

Adrenalin Surf Maroc also organised excursions to:

The area offers great sandy beaches to enjoy the sunset, or you can relax on the terrace.
Summer clothes, a beach towel, a water bottle, swimsuit or board-shorts, sunscreen, a pen (for the form at passport control on arrival / departure), sunglasses, flip-flops, a beach bag, a warm clothing for cool nights.
If you come with your surf equipment, do not forget the drifts, the screws, as well as the leash and wax.
Morocco is an Islamic country, but moderate where men and women dress quite normally. You can wear shorts and t-shirts. Swimwear and bikinis can be worn on the beach, but nudity is not recommended.
Be mindful of people around you.
It can be chill and windy at night, especially in winter, so make sure to bring warm clothes too.
Children of all ages are welcomed in Morocco and at our place.
At Adrenalin Surf Maroc children remain under the responsibility of parents.
Morocco is a great surfing destination all year long and the weather is beautiful.
During the winter months, from October to March, world-class waves make Morocco’s celebrity.
There are very wide varieties of spots in the area, from ideal waves for beginners with large sandy beaches to more difficult reefs.
Morocco is blessed with more than 300 days of sunshine a year.
Our surf camp and surf school are open all year around.
In summer, it is very hot (up to almost 50 °). Your choice of wetsuit comes down to a personal choice and your temperature tolerance, but in general you will wear a full 3 / 2mm suit. When it’s too hot, you can go in the water as you like. The majority of our surf suits are brand Ripcurl in integral 3/2.

In general, if you come for a stay equal to or less than 90 days, only a valid passport is required.
Beyond three months, it is advisable to make an appointment with an employee of the Moroccan immigration service and request an extension that can not exceed three months.
In the event of an unlawful situation with regard to the residence permit, a fine and an eviction measure accompanied by a residence ban are applied.
Check that the passport has been stamped by the border police authorities (mention of a number during a first visit and entry stamp, under penalty of being, without his knowledge, illegally staying (source site www. diplomatie.gouv.fr).
When you arrive at the airport, the local border team might ask for details on your stay such as where and for how long.

The Moroccan currency is the dirham. Exchange rates are around 10 Dh = 1 €. The dirhams are not tradable outside Morocco.
There is a currency exchange and ATMs at the airport and in Tamraght where our surf camp is.
Be aware that travelers checks can not be exchanged at the airport or nearby, some banks take them on Agadir. Other small businesses take them too, but you lose at a much lower conversion. We do not recommend that you bring traveler’s checks.
Almost all European telephone operators have a partnership with operators in Morocco and offer very good network coverage, even on beaches.
Contact your operator for conditions of use in Morocco as tarifs might be expensive.
We do offer sim card for your stay if required. This will allow you to get data.
Also, the surf camp puts at your disposal a free WIFI access.
The international phone code of Morocco is +212.
If you are calling from outside the country, you must dial your international carrier code (+ or 00 for Europe on your mobile) and then the country number. If you see a phone number that is not preceded by +212, you need to add it.
If you call locally, you do not need +212 and add a 0 before your number.
Islam forbids the consumption of alcohol for Muslims, alcohol can not be sold or served anywhere.
As a result, the vast majority of Moroccan restaurants do not have a license to sell alcoholic beverages. Alcohol is sold in some supermarkets in Agadir such as Carrefour or Uniprix or beverage shops.
The official language of Morocco is Arabic. Darija is the Moroccan Arabic. Locally people also speaks Berber.
However, the majority of Moroccans also speak French and English very well.
The Adrenalin Surf Maroc coach speaks French, English and German so it is possible to take surf lessons in these languages.
Local time is based on GMT (Casablanca)
In Morocco, we use 220 volts with two-pin plugs, same as in France.
You might need an adaptator plug if you use personal devices.
Tap water is drinkable, however, we do not recommend drinking this water.
We provide bottled water and have a filtered fountain in our camp to refill your water bottle.
Adrenalin Surf Maroc offers its guests free and unlimited internet access in the property through WIFI.
Most coffee shops and restaurants do provide free WIFI for its customers too.
In the heart of the village you can find some small restaurants, cafes, various grocery stores, some chicken, fish and vegetable merchants, but also a pharmacy, souvenir boutiques, surf shops and excellent shaper / surf repair.
In Taghazout and Aourir (5 min by taxi) you can find additional restaurants and pharmacies, as well as several surf shops and small tourist shops.
Agadir is a 20-minute taxi ride from the surf camp. You can find everything a great city has to offer: banks, McDonald’s, several hospitals and clinics, bars and clubs, various restaurants (Japanese, Indian, European and also typical Moroccan cuisine of course).
Agadir has great parks, a long sandy beach with a Marina, a kasbah to visit and many traditional markets.
We recommend that all our customers take out “Liability Insurance” for travel and medical care before coming to see us or your advisor.
Practising surfing can be risky so having a travel insurance is recommanded.
If you arrive in Marrakech, know that the company Royal Air Maroc offers regular flights to Agadir.
However, for economic reasons we advise you to travel by bus. In fact, the CTM or Supratour companies (which we advise you to use) regularly and daily make the connection between Marrakech and Agadir.
It costs around 20 euros per way and takes 3/4 hours by the highway. We will pick you up at Agadir Bus Station to take you to the surf camp.
If you do not surf, you can always accompany us on the beach to enjoy the sun, take a walk or participate in our daily yoga sessions, treat yourself for a massage, a hammam, a horseback ride on the beach, etc.
Various extras “à la carte” activities will be proposed to you on your arrival.
Our surf school rents its materials. We have all kinds of boards for rent from long board, soft tops to short and hard top boards. We offer all combination sizes for beginners and children. Our wetsuits are in excellent condition.
We have different types of boards available: softboard, shortboard, fish, funboard and longboard. Available sizes vary from 5’10 to 9’0.
You can access the first surf spots in 10 minutes on foot. We are located in front of the Banana, Devil’s Rock and Crocro spots.
The area offers more that 20 surf spots in a maximum of 20 minutes ride. Lots to explore!
